About these terms

These terms apply to purchases through houseoftoni.com. The seller is Lumora Media LLC, trading as House of Toni, at the business address below. We sell lamps and lighting, including indoor and outdoor lights, online and deliver to the United Kingdom. Please read these terms together with our delivery, returns and privacy policies before placing an order.

Products and availability

Product pages describe the items, available options and prices. Select the options carefully before ordering and check the details given on the product page, such as dimensions, power source (for example mains plug, battery, USB, solar or hard-wired), bulb or fitting type and any stated IP rating. Mains-powered lights with a plug are supplied with a UK plug for use with the UK mains supply (230V). Screen settings can affect the appearance of colours and of light. If an ordered item is unavailable or an error affects your order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate correction or refund.

Ordering

The checkout allows you to review and correct your items and details before submitting an order. An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order. Acceptance occurs when we send your dispatch confirmation. We will contact you if we cannot accept an order and refund any payment already taken for it.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in GBP. Standard UK delivery is free. Applicable import duties and import taxes are covered by us. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and depend on your order and payment eligibility. Payment is authorised or collected during checkout according to the selected payment method.

Delivery

Processing takes an estimated 1-2 working days, followed by 5-8 working days in transit. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. The order cut-off is 2:00 pm UK time (GMT/BST). See our delivery policy for details. Goods remain our responsibility until delivered to you or a person you nominate to receive them.

Cancellation, returns and exchanges

You may notify us of cancellation within 14 days of receiving the goods and return them within a further 14 days. Our returns policy explains the process, return postage, refunds and free colour or variant exchanges. It also provides an optional cancellation form. Your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.

Installation, use and safety

Please read and follow the instructions and safety information supplied with each product before installation and use. Lights designed to be hard-wired to a mains electrical supply should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with current UK wiring regulations. Use lights outdoors only where they are described as suitable for outdoor use and in conditions appropriate to their stated IP rating. Handle bulbs, LED modules and rechargeable batteries as described in the instructions, charge them only with a suitable charger or cable, and do not use a product that is damaged.

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by installation or use that does not follow the instructions supplied, except where it results from a fault in the goods, from goods not being as described, from incorrect information or instructions provided by us or from our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, our liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1987 or your statutory rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described.

Problems with an order

Please email support@houseoftoni.com if a product is faulty, an item is missing or something has gone wrong with your order. We will investigate and arrange the remedy required by your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricts your statutory rights.

Recycling electrical items and batteries

Electrical and electronic equipment and batteries should not be disposed of with general household waste. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on a product, its packaging or its instructions means that it must be collected separately at the end of its life. Separate collection allows materials to be reused or recycled and prevents hazardous substances from harming people and the environment. Your local council can tell you where to take old electrical items and batteries, such as a household waste recycling centre.

Using the website

Please use the website lawfully and provide accurate information when ordering or contacting us. You must not interfere with the website, introduce harmful software or misuse other customers’ information. Website content is protected by the rights of its owners.

Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving consumers elsewhere in the United Kingdom of mandatory protections available where they live.
